Masaru YOSHIDA
was born in December 1937 in
In 1968-1970,
he stayed over a year in Antarctica as a member of the Japanese team, and since
then, he concentrated in research of
Presently, he
is serving as the President of the Gondwana Institute for Geology and
Environment, Emeritus President of the International Association for
Gondwana Research. In 2010 he has been nominated as the the Emeritus Professor of the Tribhuvan
University of Nepal.
